In 1988 I was hired by the Leon County Sheriff’s Department and graduated from the Pat Thomas Corrections Academy. In late 1988 I was hired as a Police Officer with the Tallahassee Police Department. After graduating from the Pat Thomas Law Enforcement Academy I was assigned to Patrol as a Police Officer. Nine years of Service with the Tallahassee Police Department I was assigned to Community Policing, Narcotics Investigator, DARE Officer and a SWAT Team member.
 

In 1997 I joined the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) as a Special Agent. After attending and graduating from the DEA Academy in Quantico, Virginia I was assigned to the New England Field Division (Boston, MA). While assigned to the New England Field Division I held several positions such as the New England Field Division Marijuana Eradication Coordinator, New England Field Division Safety Officer and the New England Field Division Training Coordinator.

In 2019, I accepted a position in the Nairobi Country Office as the Assistant Country Attaché. My duties consisted of liaison with the Nairobi Law Enforcement Officials regarding Drug investigations affecting the United States. In addition I conducted training programs for the
Nairobi Law Enforcement Officers. I supervised 20 Nairobi Law Enforcement Officers assigned to the Sensitive Investigative Unit who were responsible for conducting sensitive drug related investigations throughout Kenya and internationally. I was the liaison for Kenya, Ethiopia, Somalia, Uganda, Djibouti, Eritrea and Central African Republic.

In 2021 I retired from Drug Enforcement Administration as a Special Agent out of the Tallahassee Resident Office. Shortly after retiring, I received my C license as a Private Investigator. Throughout my 30 plus years in Law Enforcement I have been the recipient of many awards.

I have an enormous amount of experience in criminal investigations, surveillance, interviewing/interrogations, collecting evidence and case preparation just to name a few.

 

I am a Combat Veteran who served in the United States Marine Corps. I was part of Operation Desert Storm in 1991 and played a significant part in liberating Kuwait City. I was a Tank Commander on the M-60 A-1 Tank assigned to the 2nd Marine Division. My unit was tasked with penetrating the Iraqi forces by leading the ground assault into Kuwait City.
